Periodic Electrical Testing and PAT Testing
Electrical testing is legally required for compliance with:
Electrical Inspection and Testing of Buildings (BS7671)
Fixed wire testing is a periodic requirement by law. With increased responsibility of the owner/occupier compliance has never been more of an essential requirement. Periodic inspection and testing is necessary because all electrical installations deteriorate due to a number of factors such as damage, wear, tear, corrosion, excessive electrical loading and environmental influences. Legislation requires that electrical installations are maintained in a safe condition and therefore must be periodically inspected and tested
Regular testing of portable appliances is a legal requirement and the laws are in place to protect you, your premises and the people around you whether these may be colleagues, employees, tenants or customers
Electrical shocks & electrical fires can have devastating consequences and if noncompliance with British Standards is found to be the cause the legal repercussions are unforgiving. Click Here for Further informations
